It’s entertainment galore once again in the ancient city of Masvingo at Caravan Park where a musical event dubbed The Great Outdoors, ‘The Big Dig’ slated for Friday March 18 2023.
All roads lead to Caravan Park, the anchorage of entertainment, where fun lovers and revelers will be in for a treat in the ancient city which is predominantly starved of musical shows.
Organiser of the show Garikai “Boss G” Garande said this will be the first edition and the theme is ‘celebrating the diversity of Food, Music & Dance.
“The event dubbed ‘The Big Dig’ will have 3 different sections (small Digs) and each playing specific music genres. Dig 1 for Old school music and Rhumba Music will be popular with the mature and older generation, Digs 2 and Dig 3 for Amapiano / House/Nija/Afrobeats will be popular with the young and adventurous. Dig 2 will also cater for Dancehall Music and Marasta” added Garande.
The event which starts at 12 noon boasts of unique services at each dig from music to food, drinks, braai and general entertainment.
The main stage performances are set to begin at 8pm with live band performances by Killer T, Enzo Ishal, Alchemy and other supporting local artistes.
Entry fees have been pegged at as low as usd5 person before 8pm, $7 after 8pm and a package for $10 that includes free car parking inside the venue and free entry for 1 cooler box per car.
The event is also unique as it promotes local tourism and retail outlets who are set to benefit by providing services such as accommodation, food, fuel and other related services to tourists who will grace the event.
Garande also said that this event provides corporates with branding and marketing opportunities at very affordable prices.
It also provides the general public with business opportunities in areas like main Stage Branding; Dig branding; Corporate Tents , Corporate Branding; Food Stalls; Photo booth and Shisha Stall with all these services pegged at different prices.
