DEBUTANTS in the Masvingo Urban Development Pool Association (MUDPA) league, Yeukai Pool Club is faring well as they currently sit in the top half of the league in their first season.

The club which is occupying position six on the log standings has been enjoying a good run in their debut campaign.

Team manager, Jadson Mhango, who spoke to Centre News said they are impressed by their current form and are aiming for a top-four finish.

“The team is doing considerably well, remember it’s our first season in the league. We are aiming to finish in the top four,” said Mhango.

Out of eight games played so far, the new boys have registered four wins, two draws, and three losses.

They are currently tied to 14 points together with fifth and seventh-placed Soweto and Mushure Stars respectively.

This coming weekend, Yeukai plays at home against third-placed Masvingo City in a tricky encounter.

Landmark Wolfs lead the pack while Bobs occupies second place on the 19-team log table.
